Restoring a purchase

On a new device or after reinstalling, open Settings in the App and tap "Restore purchases". You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.

How long is the trial, and what happens after?

Seven days from first launch, with everything available. When it ends, "Flash anzan", "Mock test" and "Records" return to their locked state, but "Abacus practice" and "Mental arithmetic" continue to work.

How do I cancel?

This is not a subscription. It is a single payment with no auto-renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. For a refund, please contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Mental arithmetic has not started yet

Facts appear in mental arithmetic once they have been learned on the beads. Practise in "Abacus practice" first; each fact you learn there crosses over individually.

If your child attends a class and you would like to start from mental arithmetic, choose Settings → "Attends a class" and select a grade. Facts up to that grade are treated as already learned on the beads.

The grade conditions differ from our class

The number of terms, digits, time limit and target score can be changed in the settings for "Flash anzan" and "Mock test". Please set them to match your class or examination.

Do records transfer to a new device?

No. Practice records are stored only on the device, with no iCloud sync. On a new device, records start from scratch (purchases can be restored).

To keep a copy, export it before switching: Records → "Export this week's record".

There is no sound

Check that Settings → "Play sounds" is on. When it is on, sounds play even with the ringer switch silenced. If there is still nothing, check that the media volume — not the ringer volume — is turned up.
