Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the iOS / iPadOS application "Ouchi Soroban" (the "App") provided by GLSPACE Co., Ltd. (the "Company").

1. Licence

Subject to these terms, the Company grants you a non-exclusive right to use the App for personal purposes. Please do not copy, redistribute, sell or lend the App, or attempt to decompile or disassemble it.

2. Pricing and purchases

• The App is free to download. "Abacus practice" and "Mental arithmetic" remain usable without any purchase.
• "Flash anzan", "Mock test" and "Records" are unlocked by an in-app purchase (non-consumable, one-time). It is a single payment with no auto-renewal.
• For 7 days from first launch, all features are available before purchase. This trial is managed by the Company within the App; it is not an Apple free trial. The start date is stored on the device, and deleting and reinstalling the App does not restart it.
• After the trial ends, the three features above require a purchase. Everything else remains usable.
• On a new device or after reinstalling, use "Restore purchases" in the App's settings.
• Family Sharing is not supported.

3. Refunds

Payment is processed by Apple, so refund requests must go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Company cannot issue refunds directly.

4. What the App is, and disclaimers

• The App does not replace a soroban class or a teacher. It is a tool for continuing practice at home.
• Finger technique cannot be assessed on a screen. Please learn finger technique in class, on a physical abacus.
• Conditions for each grade (number of terms, digits, time limits) differ between schools and certifying bodies. The App lets you adjust them in settings and does not reproduce the criteria of any particular examination.
• Practice in the App neither indicates nor guarantees passing or failing any examination or certification.
• The App is provided as is, without warranty as to fitness for a particular purpose or as to learning outcomes.

5. Changes and discontinuation

The Company may change the App or discontinue providing it.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
